A ‘Songs with Games’ Children’s Concert Was Held at Our University’s Youth Academy

A ‘Children’s Concert Featuring Playful Songs’ aimed at children was organised at our University’s Youth Academy. Coordinated by Associate Professor Dr Ersin Turhal, a lecturer at the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, and prepared in collaboration with our University’s postgraduate student Mehmet Devrim Çerci, the concert featured not only popular children’s songs but also three pieces composed by Çerci.
At the concert, Mehmet Devrim Çerci and Assoc. Prof. Dr Ersin Turhal were accompanied by a music group comprising our conservatoire students Cem Tuncay Altunay, Bekir Doğukan Eldem and Arda Balon. The event, which combined music and play, offered children an enjoyable and interactive concert experience.
In addition to pupils from our University’s Çiftlikköy Campus Nursery and Pre-school and Yenişehir Campus Nursery and Pre-school, pre-school children and their teachers from various other nurseries also attended the concert. The event, which was filled with cheerful and lively moments, allowed the children to experience the unifying and fun side of music by singing along to the songs and taking part in the games.
At the end of the event, certificates of appreciation were presented by Dr Gülsüm Gök, Assistant Professor and Director of the Youth Academy, to the academics and students who contributed to organising the concert.
